We are pleased to announce that since 30.04.2024 Plastchim-T owns 100% of Manucor’s shares.
The acquisition of Manucor will establish a strong supply chain platform across Europe, Middle East and Africa, with the opportunity for additional expansion. Manucor was founded in 1987 and has grown to become a major biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) manufacturer. Manucor operations include a portfolio of leading products, and a production and logistics center in Sessa Aurunca (Caserta).
“Manucor gives Plastchim-T matured capabilities and expertise in BOPP, self-adhesive and warp-around tapes and labels, and our system can create opportunities to grow our innovative sustainable packaging products worldwide,” said Plastchim-T Chief Executive Director, Beyan Faik. “We do believe Manucor employees are an amazing example of loyalty, creativity and committed work and would consist a solid foundation of growing together, accelerating the pace of innovation and sustainable growth. Enlarging our BOPP manufacturing capacity would be a pre-condition to further grow BOPE (Bi-axially Oriented Polyethylene) – one of the few packaging film segments where we have an unique proposition with 100% Recyclable Eco-Friendly Film. The Acquisition will present undoubtful opportunity to expand and further educate our clients’ base on the importance of Circular Economy in meeting increasing legislation requirements. ”
“The Manucor Team and I are extremely excited to be joining Plastchim-T Family,” said Manucor CEO, Luigi Scagliotti. “Plastchim-T is a fantastic business with committed and passionate employees, a great track record and enormous clients’ base, serving more than 50 markets worldwide. Being part of Plastchim-T will enable us to grow the business further and faster by utilizing multiple synergies for competitive growth. I would like to say a huge thank you to our clients and partners, and to everyone in the Manucor team who have helped us build the business to this position, and I look forward to the next exciting chapter of Manucor. ”
