Product Development Manager

Job Purpose: 

  • Structure and manage product planning and marketing to manage the entire films portfolio, identifying competitive advantages and gaps vs other industry players.
  • Gathering end customer as well as BTB (converters and printing houses) customer requirements and define sharp vision with engineering and production.
  • Lead product development projects working closely with R&D and innovation, production teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
  • Get a grip of product pricing and positioning strategies.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
  • Тhe Role reports to Plastchim-T Executive Director, Commercial Function. Based in Aksakovo, Varna.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Good understanding of customer experience in packaging industry, identifying and fill product gaps to drive profitable growth
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Drive product launches including working with sales team
  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
  • Business support for building assumptions for business cases on strategic initiatives, pricing and strategy portfolio, connecting the dots between external and internal data
  • Lead product development projects, being responsible for commercial & marketing stream outcomes delivery
  • Special films profitable sales development to generate new sales leads, negotiate client pricing, and forecast sales revenue, all to support one of the most important businesses growth
  • Assessing costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Solid professional experience in product management or as an associate product manager
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Profound ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Strong technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in production and in BTB with packaging industry being a plus
  • Good grasp of business analyzes and recommendations using multiple data sources
  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams and with external partners
  • Excellent project management skills
  • MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred

Job Purpose: 

  • A core driver for structuring commercial data and initiating a strong foundation for analytical methodology, tools and systems.
  • Strategic and operational business partner to Commercial Senior Team and Managing Board.
  • Business support for building assumptions for business cases on strategic initiatives, pricing and strategy portfolio, connecting the dots between external and internal data.
  • Тhe Role reports to Plastchim-T Executive Director, Commercial Function. Based in Aksakovo, Varna.

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of business analyzes and recommendations using multiple internal and external data sources
  • Development and implementing KPI’ tracking system; pricing methodology
  • Development of short/mid-term production request together with Plastchim-T S&OP team in alignment with sales plan and forecast, considering lead times and inventory
  • Analyzing current sales figures and historic data, implementing forecasting models and tracking the efficiency of commercial decisions implementation, incl. preparation of rolling estimations and scenarios comparison
  • Supporting the commercial team in exploring new markets and launching new products
  • Identifying and implementing innovations and automation in reporting, incl. preventive analytics

 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • 3-5 years of experience in areas of sales, marketing, planning, financial controlling, purchasing or retail, especially in b2b industry or management consulting; Min. 2 years of experience in analyzing sales data and building simulation models and scenarios
  • Experience in supporting commercial teams and functions in establishing reliable reporting and analytical processes, routines and systems
  • Practical knowledge and skills in building business cases, calculating ROI
  • In-depth knowledge of the appropriate value chain processes, with the ability to make recommendations for process improvement
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent project management skills
  • University Degree in the process of economic, technical, business intelligence, qualitative methods, etc.; information science or similar filed
  • In-depth experience with commercial ERP systems and analytical engines
  • MS Office skills: Power BI, Excel with Power Pivot (DAX), MS Power Platform/ MS Flow, Power Point, handling large data sets; Good knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (MS Power BI, automated dashboards). SQL is an advantage.

Chief Mechanical Engineer

Job Scope:

The Chief Mechanical Engineer reports to the Production Director, working side by side with the Chief Electrical Engineer, leading a team of Mechanical Engineer and mechanics. A core driver for effective and efficient performance of the of production lines and machinery equipment, the role will lead a variety of projects in our 3 production site – Aksakovo, Devnya, Tervel.

 

Main Duties:

  • Responsible for the overall proper operation and maintenance of the machinery park
  • Communicate effectively company’s strategic framework
  • Lead projects deployment with disciplined focus on quality and deadlines
  • Ensure a wholistic annual maintenance plan is in place and implemented under quality terms
  • Partner other Supply Chain teams to deliver integrated annual business plan
  • Prepare diligent technical documentation, incl. drawings and schemes
  • Manage a diverse group of external suppliers and service providers

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • +3 years of experience in a similar role within a complex production
  • Success stories in bringing up a highly performing teams
  • Extensive experience in managing organizational change
  • Proficiency in AutoCad and Microsoft Office
